The Narrative of Luxury
Reliance launched the first ever Atlas of Affluence 2022 - a strategic report that looks at consumer behaviour through the prism of luxury
and affluence in India. While the report is all about qualitative and
quantitative research, the design of the same was intended to be synthesised in a manner that deviates from the norm.
Building a luxury report while making it art driven was challenging. The infographics and the calculative data needed to be adapted to a more complimenting and balanced style of Layout and Illustration.
THE CHALLENGE
How do you make. a luxury report without making it feel mundane, heavy on the eye and interesting to a larger audience ?

DESIGN SYSTEM
By building a luxury report that feels light, tells a story rather than just facts and looks like an art narative.
The report was divided into four sections—Introduction, Full Interviews, Snippets, and Full Report—designed on a flexible 2- and 3-column grid to balance data with narrative and maintain an open, breathable layout.
