ATLAS OF AFFLUENCE 2022 

Reliance launched the first ever Atlas of Affluence 2022 - a strategic report that looks at consumer behaviour through the prism of luxury and affluence in India. While the report is all about qualitative and

quantitative research, the design of the same was conceptualised to appeal to the reader's subconscious

through an art narrative.

The Challenge 

Building a luxury report while making it art driven was challenging. The infographics and the  calculative data needed to be adapted to a more complimenting and balanced style of Layout and Illustration.

DESIGN SYSTEM 

The report consisted of four segregated sections for which we designed a proposed grid. The idea was to maintain a hearty breathing canvas while incorporating crunched numbers and the art narrative proposed.  These were divided as - a) Section Introduction b) Single Page Full Interviews c) Short Report Snippets d) Full Report.  We used a mix and match of 3 column and 2 column grids to maintain a free flow to the narrative.
