YALE SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE OPEN HOUSE POSTER EXPLORATION
A self initiated project wherein Yale School of Architecture opens its grounds for students in their foundational years to learn and develop an understanding of the field. The idea was to create interesting and unconventional imagery while playing with Typography and form.
HOW DOES FORM AND TYPE CREATE INTERESTING IMAGERY TO CREATE INTRIGUE?
When one talks about the field of Architecture, a sudden burst of materials, structure and systems come to mind. Taking that as an inspiration , I tweaked typography geometrical forms and a judicious use of positive and negative space to explore some options for the poster exploration. Since the idea was to make something that attracts attention and creates intrigue, this was an attempt to step away from the conventional and add an experimental touch to the overall look and feel while retaining the essence of Architecture.
